What does freedom mean to you? Freedom to express yourself? What is holding you back? What would you do if you knew you would not fail? Take a chance, take a leap.
Let go...fly...soar!
"Free" by the Zac Brown band is one of my favorite current songs. Enjoy. Support our troops.

Awesome!! I really like how you used both positive and negative bird images.
Great question, Brian. I did a technique today and failed miserably. Thankfully, I have more fabric and supplies, so it's not a problem. And, I may have failed the task, but will eventually master the project. And unlike some artists, I'm more than willing to share my mistakes so others don't have to make them.
To me, freedom takes on a different connotation, though. I can live free and write what I choose. No censorship or repercussions for my words and actions. No worries that being a woman means being subservient to a government or society. OK, nuff said!
I love these pages, Brian!! on the topic of Freedom, interestingly today I had a "moment of truth" where I felt I was just off loading what was in my whole being....and I felt free afterwards....that was good!! Thank you for visiting my blog!
Listening to this song made me cry..Freedom for me means I can do that...cry, and say I am...Freedom means to me, being able to move forward, letting nothing hold me back, knowing I will fail for sure from time to time but go forward anyway. Express yourself? Absolutely. Freedom to me equals love. Like the song says...I don't need money...I need freedom an I need love. You Brian are a free spirit, doubtful yet fearless! Your beautiful genuine soaring art says SO!!!

Your journal pages are wonderful. I feel freedom is paid with a priceless and outrageous loss of lives and limbs. Life is so precious and we are so fortunate to enjoy and make our art. Happy creating...
