And the Day Came...

One day in June I treked with a friend to San Diego to my friend Pnina's beautiful home for one of Orly Avineri's art journal field trips to San Diego... It was a lovely day, we ate wonderful foods, laughed a lot, did a bit of art journaling and playing with pens, and paint, and paper and made some wonderful new friends. We revisited the roses. I finally added a bit of text and wanted to post it here.
The left side.
And here is the right side.
And here is a close-up of the quote in my awful handwriting. Bloom my friends, take some risks.

These warm colors remind me of summer. By adding the quote in white, I felt it cooled it down a bit. As you can tell, I really love this spread. Dynamic.

Great colors!
And I don't find your handwriting that bad. But I know from my own writing that others mostly do not find it as bad as I do... :-)

Love these pages ...the colours are wonderfully rich ...what do you mean you dont like your hand writing!!!?

I have wasted a lot of my life, too scared to take chances and giving in to fears of the unknown....maybe I should have thrown caution to the wind....bit late now.
